There were nearly 50,000 suicides in the US last year and over 1.3 million suicide attempts.

“We are deeply honored to receive this prestigious honor from the Anthem Awards. These awards belong to the 6 people who shared their very personal stories with us, so that their experiences might reach others who are at risk and offer them the alternatives of hope and help. It is a testament to their courage as well as the dedication of our team in creating such important content. Our hope is that the series also brings about positive change in our society by destigmatizing mental health and the topic of suicide,” said Brian McCourt, CEO at Able Channel. “We would also like to thank the behavioral health team at Cleveland Clinic for also being featured in the program. It was very important that we showed a clinical point of view in response to the stories that were being shared.”
