Wins Award for Social Impact Programming
(May 25, 2021) – Able Channel won the Silver Telly for its groundbreaking Social Impact Series Surviving Suicide, at this year’s 42nd Annual Telly Awards.
Able Channel ABLE’s CEO and Founder, Brian McCourt, Paul Goggin, and Digger O’Brien were honored as Executive Producer, Coordinating and Supervising Producers on the project.
McCourt had this to say when learning of the award. “This series is dedicated those in the program who were compassionate and courageous to share with us their stories so that others might learn and seek help. We produced this series to destigmatize the subject of suicide and elevate the national conversation about mental health and the importance of seeking support and treatment. The program also features behavioral health specialists from the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
